The Scopes Trial, also known as "The Monkey Trial" was a clash of Fundamentalism and Modernism.
The Scopes Trial was a fight between fundamentalism and modernism.
- John Scopes, a teacher in a school in Tennessee taught about Charles Darwin's theory of evolution to his students when the government said not to. The government opposed to evolution because of the bible sayings.
- William Jennings Bryan tried to prove Scopes was guilty.
